General uses: It is an additive for eliminating smoking & saving energy used in various fuels such as gasoline diesel oil coal & some aviation oil. It is also used the antiknock agent for gasoline, About 1.0g/l ferrocene was added to the gasline with an Octane No. of 56. with this additive, the Octane No. was increased to 70. Moreover, it may be used as the aging ageng for rubber, as the self-extinguisher and the initiator for plastic, as the chemicals, the catalyst to synthesize ammonia.

Chemical characteristic: It is orange crystal with naphalene like smell. It can be dissolved in organic solvents such as gasoline, benezene, ethanol etc., but not in water & in boiled basic sodium solution & hydrochloric acid.

Property & Function:

The methyl hexahydrophthalic anhydride may be obtained by catahytic hydrogenate or the methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride. It is an anhydride type hardener with high properties, except the normal properties of the methyl tetrahydropthaeil anhydride: high purity, light lustre, low viscosity, low volatility, less toxical, litte loss on heating, stable quality, lower solidifying point and durable at normal temperature, it has more excellent properties: ligher lustre, colorless transparent liquid, it is basically color retention hesides the color of accelerant itself, the epoxide resin product is white; it has good thermal restristant property, especially under 150, and good mechanical & electric property, and good resistance to seasons; is has high reaction-active, quickly hardening and colloidization.

Uses: It is used in the hardening outside of house, i.e.light emitting diode, igniter, especial capacitor, transformer, electric, motor, sport & entertainment material etc. Requiring of resisance to UV and color.
